That Window Seat Girl

Her eyes bowed down,
Hands raised up to her heart and
lips whispered in pray..
All were enough to make me fall in love with her..

I am talking about that window seat girl who usually did the same thing to every temple falling on the way to our institutes.
I just appeared for 12th and then took admission in an institute for the prestigious IITs.
Ohh let me tell you about that..
That maths class in morning in which our sir used to shout repeatedly, "just think, just think; that one single line.. if it strikes question is solved. That's it.." Now who could tell him that we had only learnt a line in maths and that was
RHS = LHS ЁЯШВЁЯШВ.
Then came our Newton uncle for whom we always wished, if that were a coconut tree and  the coconut would have fallen on his head, it would have at least halved the physics burden. So sad it was an apple tree..ЁЯШУ
But it was even okay with physics, everything there was going with the fixed laws but in chemistry..
In chemistry the apple would have not fallen down, it could go anywhere else might be upward, might be to the left.. anywhere.. because there were more exceptions than the number of laws.
For such hectic classes I had to commute by bus daily from my home to institute, which was more panic. I didn't know that whether I was not in time or the bus always changed its schedule, I had to run all the time to catch bus. But whatever it was, it all became a pleasant journey when I first saw her..
She used to go in the same bus to the same route but for different institute. She was from biology stream and was preparing for medical exams. She was a cute simple girl, wore a not so shiny top with  jeans. And yes had a very beautiful dimple smile.
Wait I am blushing..ЁЯШГ
But these were not the things I looked at the first sight.
I was just looking around in the bus and suddenly my eyes stuck to a girl who was sitting next to window, offering prayers to the temple on our way.
Her eyes bowed down, hands raised up to her heart and lips whispered in pray.
That all were enough to make me believe in love at first sight. Her every gesture was drawing me towards her. And since then I stopped offering prayers, whenever I saw that temple out there my eyes just searched her.
Then I tried to sync my timing with her so that I could see her more often but still it was too rare.
There were so many other institutes and all had the same timing normally so there was huge rush in bus while coming back. It was really hard even to stand in such a bus so getting a seat was remote leper. It was tough to travel standing all the way so we always looked to grab the seat as soon as possible.
And it was the day like the other days when bus was totally rushed and I managed to go to the back side, where chance of getting seat was maximum and stood there. I was fortunate she was also present in the same bus and came closer to me and stood ahead of me though there were 2 - 3 persons amidst us. I might be really lucky that day, in just 5 to 10 minutes after entering bus I got a seat beside me. It was good day of getting seat too early as sometimes I had to travel all the way standing with the heavy bag on shoulder so let me tell you getting a seat in bus like got heaven. I was about to sit there but I don't know how but my eyes stuck with her eyes. She had a beautiful pair of innocent eyes and I couldn't resist them to offer my seat. She was not expecting that but I offered her my seat saying come and sit and she smiled surprisedly and sat there. My friend who stood near me stared me angrily and said, "You bastard,  you could give that to me also, Meri aankhon m konse chaale pade hain, but yes girl is girl.. you showed your friendship today". ЁЯШВЁЯШВ
The famous dialogue of every friend..
Now she asked me to give her my bag as it was tough standing in bus with the burden of bags, she really cared that and I said okay and gave that to her. She took my bag over her bag  in her laps. Ohh How lucky my bag was..ЁЯдЧ
I already said.. I was so lucky that day and just after 5 minutes the person sitting beside her got down from bus and I was like, God...!:) She shifted to the window, made a place for me to sit down there and then I was sitting with her for the first time in all these months. She was so innocent and simple that I couldn't dare to ask anything to her not even her name but could feel the warmth of sitting beside her.
The day ended pleasantly, for the first time we smiled at each other and even sat together. Wow...ЁЯдЧ
Now time for..
                                                                                                                        INTERMISSION

I couldn't sleep that night and was thinking to move forward to talk her but how..?, that was really a valid question. Then I planned to discuss something to her from her stream means of biology but I regretted to attend only reproduction classes as far as biology was concerned, the only interesting thing of bio.ЁЯШЛЁЯШД
Now tell me who the hell would discuss reproduction to the girl whom he wants to propose in a very first meeting..ЁЯШЕЁЯШЕ
I didn't want to be that moron!
So I kept on searching some topic from different books, newspapers etc. Seriously I didn't work that much hard to even clear my IITs. And finally got a topic of air bubble in blood while in space, which was a unique topic and learnt that deeply. Now I was waiting for the same thing to happen again to sit beside her.
Finally that moment came, though it took so much time and when I say too much time, means it was in months not in days, but then for the second time I was sitting by her side and she as usual were sitting on the window seat.

Now I was thinking to initiate to talk her but it was really really hard to speak out.
We smiled at each other as a normal gesture and somehow I managed to break the ice.

"Heyy, Hii
(Both in a single strokeЁЯЩК)
Akshay.."
Then she replied smiling..
"Hii..
Yogita."
Ohh what I heard..
And then my heart started beating high, pumping more blood to my body parts which consequently increased my body temperature and I was then sweating in the winter season. Omg.. but probably that's what we call love..ЁЯТХ
It was an unnecessary big pause in between the talk. Now I had to recharge me to get the things back on the way.
I dared and summoned up all my courage to continue talk her and looked at her but what I saw, 'She was sleeping leant by the window.'
Shit.!! Then what could I do.ЁЯЩД
Though she was looking prettier then but it couldn't help me to move ahead.
Now I waited for her to wake up. My body was already trying to pull my hands back and somehow I managed to dare to initiate but it all went in vain.
After some time she woke up but my stoppage was to come in few seconds then. I looked at her, damn, she still had that flare which held my eyes on her. But what could I do, I had to get down from bus and hoped to see her again.
I revised that biology lesson everyday in the hope to see her again but then I got to know that her institute's timing was changed and we would be never in the same bus again.
Then the journey again became hectic, now I could realize the commute was really deadly. But whenever that temple came on way, her face always surfaced in front of my eyes. Then I prayed to see her again but I think the god might had got angry at me as he was supposed to be, someone else was becoming the place of my offerings.
Then one day I was at the same bus stoppage where I got down that day and left her in bus and just then a bus stopped there. Can you imagine she was there at that window seat, leant on and sleeping. I went speechless then, was seeing her just before the end of our sessions in institutes. There were two options ahead of me, "First, to get in the bus and try to talk her after such a long time and Second, to let the things go there way and pray god to see her again, as we were at the peak time for what we worked hard for a whole year so it could disturb both of us."
I went for the second option and
Then my eyes bowed down, my hands raised to my heart and my lips whispered in pray, "May her all prayers get accepted".
That was the last day when I saw her.
She was my first love may be but I won't say it because it was not like that and then it would more sound like tragedy. I would rather call it a Crush. But please don't take me wrong here that if I had got her I would have called it love, not so as love has nothing to do with that, either you get the person you love or you loose, it never prooves that you never loved. Love is the purest form of our souls which comes always unconditional.
It has been seven years since I had last seen her but the things are still so fresh, her dimple smile, her glittering eyes, that innocent face and of course that window seat..
So moral of the story is if you have crush on someone then please don't wait for the things to be in your favour and just go and pop up the question.
By the way I still have that window seat vacant by my side.. Do you wanna join me..?
Comment me below..
In a hope to find someone soon to fill this vacant window seat.. good bye..

Thank you..

a.
